Warranty

Residential properties are locations containing either a single family or multifamily structure, that are available for occupation for non-business purposes. Kstone offers life-time warranty for products installed in the interior of your residence, starting from the date your Kstone products are completely installed.

Kstone is only responsible for the repair and replacement of defective products during the warranty period. Any other loss and damages that are the result of fabrication and installation of the material will not be covered under this warranty.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

This warranty applies only to Kstone Quartz surfacing materials.
This warranty applies only to quartz materials that are permanently installed in the single-family residences and that have not been moved from their original installation.
This warranty covers only fully paid materials. Client’s decision to change another colour after or during installation is not covered under this warranty.
This warranty only applies to materials that have been maintained and cared properly.
This warranty is not transferable. This warranty is issued to the original owner of the structure in which the Kstone Quartz was installed and expires upon transfer of the ownership of the structure to a third party.
To request service under this warranty you must contact the entity from which you purchased the Kstone Quartz or contact Kstone Quartz Ltd. directly at 416-650-5558.
All decisions regarding  this  warranty  are  at  the  sole  discretion  of  Kstone  Quartz  Ltd.  and  will  be communicated to the end user promptly.
Laws and building safety codes governing the design, engineering and construction of installations vary widely. Kstone Quartz Ltd. assumes no responsibility or obligations with respect to the selection of products for the installation or the design, engineering and construction of the installation.
As the owner of the residence, if you are not or have not been occupying the residence in which Kstone Quartz is installed, this warranty does not apply to you.

EXCLUSIONS:

Routine maintenance and minor conditions such as surface stains and water spots that may be corrected by simple procedures are not covered.
This warranty does not cover products installed in outdoor applications.
This warranty does not cover flooring applications.
This warranty does not cover improper use, physical or chemical misuse, such as damage from mishandling, excessive heat or impact, exposure to weather conditions, etc.
This warranty does not cover cracks caused by external stress forces due to lack of support, or structural movement or settling, etc.
This warranty does not cover failures due to improper fabrication or installation, which is the sole responsibility of the fabricator/installer.
This warranty does not cover labour involved in activities necessary to complete the replacement or removal of the defective material.
This warranty does not cover seam appearance or seam performance.
This warranty does not cover finishes that have been altered, including but not limited to honed finish.
This warranty does not cover additional modifications, such as plumbing, electrical, cabinets, etc., necessary to repair or replace the Kstone Quartz product covered under this warranty.
This warranty does not cover products installed with a known or visible manufacturing defect at the time of installation, including but not limited to colour variations.
This warranty does not apply to inherent irregular “spots”or “blemishes” that do not affect the integrity of the quartz material.

Kstone Quartz Ltd. shall not be responsible in either contract or tort for any loss or direct,  consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or the inability to use the Kstone products covered by this warranty. No dealer, fabricator, distributor or any other person is authorized to make any warranty, promise or representation on behalf of Kstone Quartz Ltd.

This is the only product warranty made by Kstone Quartz Ltd., and it supersedes all other warranties and representations, whether oral or written.

Commercial properties are any locations open to the general public for business or industrial use. Private properties for residential or commercial rental as well as other temporary residences included.

Kstone Quartz offers 5-year warranty for commercially installed products, starting from the date your Kstone products have been completely installed. Kstone is only responsible for the repair and replacement of defective products during the warranty period.

Any other loss and damages that are the result of fabrication and installation of the material will not be covered under this warranty. Also, the warranty does not cover any indirect damages, including but not limited to the loss of profit and interruption of business, as a consequence of the repair process.

This warranty is not transferable. This warranty is issued to the original owner of the structure in which the Kstone Quartz was installed. Should the ownership of the structure be transferred to third parties within the 5-year period, the warranty will not apply any longer. Under no circumstances shall this warranty be extended beyond 5 years.
